New Year Post

 My break was kind of boring I didn't do anything. Just went through doing nothing. My New Years Resolution would probably to be sleep more, better schedule.

 

Journal Entry 2, Quarter 2

 Monday We worked on the tiny home, Irrigation lines, Insulation. Tuesday we continued from yesterday the irrigation lines were done for the most part, started drilling holes in the tiny home, more insulation, etc. Wednesday we Ate food and put some final work/touches on the tiny home. We hame Thursday and Friday off.

 Monday was no school, Tuesday we just got a lot of more students and started to work. Wednesday we got a lot of work done, Thursday we got some work done, Friday we just planned for next week and ate food.

 We worked on the tiny house, the Halloween tunnel, moved wood and other stuff in the chicken coop.

 I think I deserve at least an A at the most I work on pretty much everything we've done in this class such as, I work on putting the planters together, breaking the old planters apart to rebuild them, digging the trenches for the new pipes to be put in, moved dirt in a wheel barrel, did measuring for the part on the tiny home to make new wood for it, Helped Leo to cut some of the bigger pieces of wood for the new planters, etc.

 We worked on blogger links, how to do basic electrical work, learned about how America gets its electrical power. and the history of Edison International.

How does the US creates it's power

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, most of the nation's electricity was generated by natural gas, coal, and nuclear energy in 2019. Electricity is also produced from renewable sources such as hydropower, biomass, wind, geothermal, and solar power. About 60% of this electricity generation was from fossil fuels—coal, natural gas, petroleum, and other gases. About 20% was from nuclear energy, and about 20% was from renewable energy sources. 40% of our engery comes from natural gas.

Edison International traces its origins back to July 4, 1886. Ac Vs. Dc power

 In direct current (DC), the electric charge (current) only flows in one direction. Electric charge in alternating current (AC), on the other hand, changes direction periodically. The voltage in AC circuits also periodically reverses because the current changes direction. Ac power is the worlds power. Dc is any power run on some sort of Battery.

 We finish the raised planters, fixed/put in new PVC pipe, Brought dirt to fill/cover all the pipe and planters, rebuild the planters, etc.

Carpentry Tools Assignment

 Nail: a small metal spike with a broadened flat head, driven typically into wood with a hammer to join things together or to serve as a peg or hook.

Jointer: a plane used for preparing a wooden edge for fixing or joining to another.

Bandsaw: A bandsaw is a power saw with a long, sharp blade consisting of a continuous band of toothed metal stretched between two or more wheels to cut material. They are used principally in woodworking, metalworking, and lumbering, but may cut a variety of materials.

Drill press: Drill press, also called Drilling Machine, device for producing holes in hard substances. The drill is held in a rotating spindle and is fed into the workpiece, which is usually clamped in a vise resting on a table.

Skill saw: A circular saw is a power-saw using a toothed or abrasive disc or blade to cut different materials using a rotary motion spinning around an arbor. A hole saw and ring saw also use a rotary motion but are different from a circular saw. Circular saws may also be loosely used for the blade itself.

Hack saw: hacksaw is a fine-toothed saw, originally and mainly made for cutting metal. The equivalent saw for cutting wood is usually called a bow saw. Most hacksaws are hand saws with a C-shaped walking frame that holds a blade under tension.

Planer: A thickness planer is a woodworking machine to trim boards to a consistent thickness throughout their length and flat on both surfaces.

Tiny Home Idea's

 

The windows have a very cool layout to them, Stairs of some sort, A mini fire place, cubers under a sofa or on the wall,  a couch that folds into a small bed if possible, and a mini fridge.

 We worked on the Tiny House, cut alot of wood, turned pallets into usable wood, Cleaned buckets, and used wood to make art.

 I didn't really do that much on summer just kind of hangout and did whatever. The only I really did was going to my friends birthday party.  I most just spent time at my home that's pretty much about it.
